The Riaza area, in the province of Segovia, is ideal for trail running. This 38-km, 1,850-mile route begins in Riaza's Plaza Mayor and climbs along trails to Pico del Lobo. The route continues along a charming ridge before descending to the village of Riofrio de Riaza, enjoying panoramic views. The route offers a combination of forest paths and mountain trails for an exciting trail run.

It begins and ends in the village of Riaza, in the province of Segovia, and is designed for trail runners looking for a technical and physical challenge in a spectacular natural setting.
The itinerary starts in Riaza and heads towards the La Pinilla Station, a reference point for outdoor activities. From there, the route ascends towards the Wolf Peak, the highest peak in the province of Guadalajara, with an altitude of 2,273 metersThis section is challenging, with steep slopes and varied terrain, but it offers stunning panoramic views of the Sierra de Ayllón and, on clear days, even the Sierra de Gredos.
The tour continues towards The Peñuelas and the Aventadero Hill, where runners will find mixed terrain of grasslands and pine forests. The route then passes through the San Benito Pass and the Calamorro de San Benito, areas that offer spectacular views and technical sections that require attention and skill.
The next highlight is the Prado Llano Pass, followed by the Caseruelas Hill, an area with constant climbs and descents that will test the runners' endurance. The route then leads to the Port of La Quesera, a hill that marks the border between the provinces of Segovia and Guadalajara, and offers a technical descent with impressive views.
The tour continues towards the Lagunilla Pass and the Parrejón Heights, where runners can enjoy more stable terrain before ascending towards the Buitrera Pass and Vulture, areas known for their natural beauty and tranquility.
The next point is the Portillo de los Lobos, a mountain pass that connects with the valley of Riofrío of Riaza, a small town known for its natural surroundings. Finally, the route returns to Riaza, where we can recover strength after the hard day
